Bacteriophage~!

bacteriophage are bacteria eaters!
its like when a person hijacking an aircraft.! confiscate the whole plane by controlling the pilot that fly the plane with the passangers...

virus invade the control centre of the cell which is the nucleus...giving commands for the cell to do proteins and many copies of itself... these viruses invade by these following sequence..
adsorption, recognition of the receptors on the bacteria..
then, penetration, they inject their viral DNA into the bacteria..
esclipse phase where transcription and translation of the viral proteins takes palce,
then assembly, the combination of phage Nucleic acid and capsid..then..
BOOM!!
lysis of the cell and release of the new phages..leaving the poor bacteria.. ( like the lecturer told us...poor, poor bacteria)

that is the process of bacteriophage in lytic phase..many more to be memorized...huargh!!!!!

you see..these virus are so minute..tiny little nasty creatures...yet they can cause the destruction of the bacteria cell and human cells to by invading their control centre..make use of the things that they dont possess...for their own good..one example of greatness of ALLAH's creation...the moral of the story is...
size does not matter>>..ie, if u are brilliant enough like these viruses..u can rule the world! but too bad, we are the one who are being controlled..if you can think deep enough, u will get what im trying to say...huhu

why im posting this? because i have an microbiology exam tomorrow and im not 100% ready!! huahuahua...plz pray for me..huhu

Blood Group and Diet

well..these are some cool facts i got from the net about the relation between our blood group and the food we eat ...by the way, mine is A.. hope this post can help some of us to maintain a healthy life..huhu

Blood group O

Their bodies cannot properly metabolise a high-carbohydrate diet, so if they don’t stick to a meat diet, they will end up putting on a lot of weight. Nevertheless, type O ancestors survived and thrived on a high-protein, meat-based diet, that’s the type of diet blood group Os should follow in the 21st century.Blood group A

By this time, our ancestors’ hunter-gathering days were over and instead they started to settle into farming-type communities. The creation of blood type A around this time meant our ancestors did well on a vegetarian-based diet. And again, Dr D’Adamo recommends that blood group A’s should today follow a veggie diet.

  • Diet profile -- A vegetarian diet suits people with this blood type.
  • Allowed -- Vegetables, tofu, seafood, grains, beans, legumes and fruit.
  • Limited -- There is no food category which is off limits for this blood group diets.
  • Foods to avoid for weight loss purposes -- Meat, dairy products, kidney beans, lima beans and wheat.
  • Food that help with weight loss -- Vegetable oil, soy foods, vegetables and pineapple.
Blood group B

This blood type has the least dietary restrictions. People who fall in this category are free to have everything, in moderation. The only problem with this type is that their immune system is quite weak compared to other groups. This is the only blood type which can easily digest milk and dairy products

  • Diet profile -- These people are balanced omnivore.
  • Allowed -- Meat (no chicken), dairy, grains, beans, legumes, vegetables and fruit.
  • Limited -- There is no food category which is off limits for this blood group diets.
  • Foods to avoid for weight loss purposes -- Corn, lentil, peanuts, sesame, seeds, buckwheat and wheat.
  • Food that help with weight loss -- Green vegetables, eggs, venison, liver, licorice and tea.
Blood group AB

this is a rare blood group and people who fall in this category should have a combination of foods that are recommended for blood types A and B. Diets for blood group A and B are quite different from one another and that is why this blood type’s diet is tricky.
  • Diet profile -- Mixed diet in moderation
  • Limited -- There is no food category which is off limits for this blood group diets.
  • Foods to avoid for weight loss purposes -- Red meat, kidney beans, lima beans, seeds, corn and buckwheat.
  • Food that help with weight loss --Tofu, seafood, dairy, greens, kelp and pineapple.

the reason for posting this topic :- i wonder why am i getting fat faster then my siblings eventhough our mom gives us the same equal nutrition since we were young...they eat a lot too but still not gaining weight..no wonder...i have different blood group then most of my siblings (they are mostly O group)..start new diet after this..hehe
